The 2U chassis range is our widest, covering depths from 380mm to 550mm and motherboard formats from Micro-ATX through to full ATX. The 2U-550 is the most popular model — a 550mm deep ATX chassis with three 80mm front fans and front USB — suitable for builds using full-size ATX boards where drive bay count is secondary to airflow and board clearance. The K239F at 390mm depth with four 3.5-inch bays is a strong option where rack depth is constrained.

For Micro-ATX builds, the CSF021 at 380mm is the most compact option with four PCI slots and dual front 80mm fans. The K245F at 450mm suits ATX boards with a mid-range depth footprint.

Drive bays: 2U chassis in this range offer between two and six 3.5-inch bays depending on depth and board format. If you need more than four drives in 2U, the 2U-550 is the correct model. If drive count is the primary requirement, consider a 4U chassis which offers more bay flexibility.

All 2U chassis are supplied without a PSU. Standard ATX PSUs fit the 2U-550 and K245F. Shallow chassis (380mm–390mm) require a short SFX or matching rear-fan ATX unit. Our PSU-350W-REAR-HR (350W) and PSU-400W-REARFAN (400W) are compatible with 2U to 4U chassis. Rail kits are not included — our NJ-2020-18 18-inch rail kit has the widest compatibility across this range.
