‌3U server chassis are mid-size rackmount enclosures designed for storage-intensive builds and systems requiring more internal room than a standard 2U can provide. At 5.25 inches high, 3U chassis can accommodate larger motherboards, more drive bays and additional cooling hardware. They are commonly deployed as dedicated storage servers, backup appliances and database servers where a higher drive count is essential. The extra internal volume also allows for better cable management and improved thermal performance under sustained load. Our 3U chassis range supports full ATX and E-ATX motherboards, multiple 3.5-inch drive bays and standard 19-inch rack mounting.
