Cudy CD-P2 5G AX3000 Dual-Band WiFi 6 Router with Integrated 5G Modem

The Cudy CD-P2 is a compact desktop router that combines an integrated 5G SA/NSA modem with dual-band WiFi 6, providing a complete wireless broadband solution without requiring a separate modem or SIM gateway. It is suited to homes, small offices, temporary deployments, and sites where fixed-line broadband is unavailable, unreliable, or cost-prohibitive.

The integrated 5G modem supports both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes with download speeds of up to 2.6Gbps and upload speeds of up to 650Mbps, alongside simultaneous 4x4 MIMO 4G carrier aggregation for fallback connectivity. A nano-SIM slot accepts any carrier SIM directly. Two SMA female connectors are provided for attaching external cellular antennas on the n78 (3500MHz) and n77 (3700MHz) bands for improved signal in fringe coverage areas. Note that the SMA connectors are for cellular antenna use only and do not extend WiFi coverage.

On the wireless side, the CD-P2 delivers AX3000 WiFi 6 with up to 2402Mbps on 5GHz and 574Mbps on 2.4GHz, aggregating to 3000Mbps across both bands. WiFi 6 features including OFDMA, MU-MIMO, TWT, and BSS Coloring support up to 256 simultaneous clients with reduced interference and improved efficiency in high-device-count environments.

The two Gigabit Ethernet ports can be configured as dual LAN or one WAN and one LAN, allowing the CD-P2 to use a fixed broadband connection as the primary uplink with 5G as automatic failover, or vice versa. Management is handled through the Cudy web interface (192.168.10.1), Cudy mobile app, or Cudy cloud portal.

VPN client and server support covers PPTP, L2TP, OpenVPN, WireGuard, IPSec, and ZeroTier. Mesh networking is supported with both wired and wireless backhaul via Cudy's whole-home mesh system.
