The Dell PowerEdge R360 Base (R360P_SPL2_BASE) is a stripped foundation unit for customers who want to supply their own memory and storage. Built on the same 1U chassis as the full R360 Smart Selection, this unit ships with the Intel Xeon 6315P processor, motherboard, PERC H355 front RAID controller, iDRAC9 Enterprise 16G, and a 700W Titanium hot-plug power supply - but with no RAM and no drives installed.
This configuration suits system integrators, IT resellers, and businesses that have surplus DDR5-5600MT/s ECC UDIMMs or drives on hand, or prefer to specify their exact storage profile. The four front 3.5-inch hot-plug bays accept SATA and SAS drives, and the chassis supports UDIMMs up to 32GB per slot across four slots for a maximum of 128GB.
