Ubiquiti U-AirWire WiFi 7 USB-C Client Adapter (STR MLO)

The Ubiquiti U-AirWire is a high-performance WiFi 7 client adapter built around Simultaneous Transmit and Receive Multi-Link Operation (STR MLO), a capability most WiFi 7 clients advertise but don't actually deliver. Where typical MLO clients switch between bands, the U-AirWire runs its 5GHz and 6GHz radios at the same time, aggregating both links into genuine multi-gigabit throughput rather than simply picking the faster band.

It's a 4-stream client, split across 2x2 MU-MIMO on 5GHz and 2x2 MU-MIMO on 6GHz, giving an aggregate data rate of up to 10Gbps across both bands. Connection is via USB-C, and from the host machine's perspective the U-AirWire simply presents as a wired network adapter, so no wireless drivers or manual WiFi configuration are needed on the client side.

Built for demanding environments, the U-AirWire includes a directional high-gain antenna system for extended 6GHz range and a dedicated scanning radio for real-time spectral analysis, helping it hold a stable link in RF-congested spaces. A front status display shows live signal strength, making antenna positioning straightforward during setup.

As a UniFi device, the U-AirWire is adopted, configured, and monitored directly from the UniFi Network Application alongside your access points and switches, with no separate management tool required. A UniFi U7 or E7 access point is required for full STR MLO operation.
