The Ubiquiti UACC-RJ45-COVER is a pack of 24 polycarbonate dust cover inserts designed to keep unused RJ45 ports free from dust, debris, and accidental connections. They press firmly into any standard RJ45 port and are removed just as easily when the port is needed, making them practical for both permanent installations and active patch panels where port availability changes over time.
Keeping unused ports covered is a simple and often overlooked measure that extends switch and patch panel longevity, reduces the risk of accidental cable insertion in the wrong port, and maintains a clean installation that is easier to audit visually.
